Our Dedicated Dental Team
Capel Dental has a dedicated team of receptionists, nurses, and a practice manager, who are all highly experienced and who aim to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.
Our practice incorporates the latest state of the art dentistry equipment, including an operating microscope, rotary endodontics and digital radiographs.

Ashley Pettit
BDS PGCert Med Ed
Ashley qualified from Bristol Dental School in 2008, and then completed a six month House Officer position in oral medicine at Bristol Dental Hospital. He joined Capel Dental in 2009, completing his Foundation Training at the practice. He took over the practice in September 2019
Ashley has been an Educational Supervisor since 2016, where he is involved in the training of newly qualified dentists.
Outside of dentistry, Ashley enjoys Paddleboarding, as well as spending time with his young family.

A little something about me…
I’ve been working in dentistry for 20 years, many of those years as a senior dental nurse within the community services in Suffolk and Essex. I qualified as a dental hygienist in 2023 and have been working with a wide range of patients to educate and encourage the best oral hygiene practices within my scope.
I live in West Bergholt with my husband, 2 children and French bulldog, Charlie. I spend my free time visiting farms and zoo’s, walking Charlie through the Bluebell woods and tending to my garden or in my green house.
Fun fact: I recently completed my CBT motorcycle test (one from the bucket list) although you won’t find me weaving through the morning traffic with windswept hair before work!
I enjoy travelling, reading and cosy nights in front of the fire with the family.
Haidee Turner
Dental therapist
Hello, my name is Haidee and I’m a dental therapist. I qualified from the University of Plymouth in 2024 and was proud to receive the Golden Scaler Award for dental hygienists upon graduating.
I have a special interest in paediatric dentistry and love helping younger patients feel comfortable and confident with their dental care.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and relaxing with my two cats and dog.
