8.00am 5.00pm

Friday 8.00am 4.30pm

How to Register

As an independent practice there are two ways that you can register to become a regular patient;

1. The Capel Dental Health Plan

At Capel Dental we offer our own insurance scheme that allows people to budget for any treatment they might require. At 13.20 per month this will entitle you to:

Please note you do not need to be dentally fit to join our scheme, as each plan can be tailored to suit your individual treatment needs.

2. Private fee per item

Patients can pay for treatment on a fee per item basis, based on our private fee scale, a copy of which can be emailed on request via the details on the contact page.

Please note that unfortunately none of the benefits of the health plan apply to this option

Payment details

We accept payment by cash, cheque and most credit/debit cards. You will normally be expected to pay for treatments carried out at each visit, unless you are told otherwise.

Emergency treatment

If you require urgent dental treatment then please telephone the practice as early as possible, as we will endeavour to see you in the same day.

For evenings and weekends please telephone the practice where you will be given an out of hours number on our answerphone message.

Please note there is an £100 out of hours call out fee for private patients which can be claimed back if you are a member of our Dental Health Plan.

Cancellation of an appointment

Please give the practice at least 24 hours notice of a cancellation of an appointment. We regret to say that we have to charge for missed appointments, or those cancelling with less than 24 hours notice.
